MasterWiki shows stolen, expert MasterClasses in WikiHow form - 2 minutes read

If you've ever been curious about even the most basic tasks — like how to hide a boner or how to be random — you may have read a WikiHow article. It's safe to assume, however, that the writers of these how-tos aren't famous experts in their field. It's not like Gordon Ramsay is going to write a WikiHow article on making scrambled eggs, right?

Wrong... kinda. MSCHF's latest drop is MasterWiki, a combination of WikiHow and MasterClass, which features online courses from famous masters across various fields, such as Ramsay on cooking or Spike Lee on independent filmmaking. You may recognize the name MSCHF from their previous releases like Finger on the App and Alexagate.

A yearly MasterClass subscription costs $180, but MasterWiki features lessons for free, complete with WikiHow's signature bizarre illustrations (though, unlike the actual WikiHow, MSCHF created their illustrations themselves).

"MasterClass is an exclusive online education platform that costs $180 annually to learn (relatively ordinary skills) from A-list celebrities," the website reads. "MasterWiki is the direct adaptation of MasterClass' video courses translated into wikiHow-style how-to guides, made available at no cost to you."

Does MasterWiki translate every single MasterClass into easily digestible articles? No. There are plenty of options to choose from in different categories like writing and sports, but MSCHF didn't copy everything over.

Is it legal? Well, MSCHF clearly states that they stole MasterClass content, so you be the judge. You don't need a masterclass to know you should check the site out before it's too late.
