Tom Ford Rose Topaz Eye Color Creme Quad - 2 minutes read

Rose Topaz

Rose Topaz Eye Color Crème Eyeshadow Quad by Tom Ford Beauty is a new, lighter neutral quad with one deeper shade. The quad included two shimmery shades and two matte shades, as well as the brand’s new cream-powder formula, which is highly pigmented and tends to “melt” on skin for a more seamless look, though it performs more like a powder in terms of pick-up, blendability, and so on. One of the quad’s shades wasn’t as pigmented as the others, but they were easy to work with and lasted me about nine hours.

Tom Ford Eye Color Creme Eyeshadow Look

Rose Topaz #1

Rose Topaz #1 is a medium peach with pink and yellow undertones that are balanced. It had a single layer of opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well because the texture was lightweight, emollient, but not too firmly pressed into the pan. This color lasted for nine hours before noticeably fading.

Rose Topaz #2

Rose Topaz #2 is a medium gold with a metallic sheen and warmer undertones. Because of the cream-powder formula, it had more semi-opaque, buildable color coverage that applied well and went on evenly and “melted” on my skin. It lasted for nine hours before beginning to fade.

Rose Topaz #3

Rose Topaz #3 is a medium golden taupe with warm undertones and a glistening finish. It had mostly opaque color payoff and a lightweight, cream-powder texture that felt creamier to the touch but performed more powdery in practice. It stayed on for nine hours before fading visibly, but there was some fallout over time.

Rose Topaz #4

Rose Topaz #4 is a dark taupe-brown with cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. The texture was dense to the touch, almost like a cream eyeshadow rather than a powder eyeshadow, but when I applied it with a brush, the color picked up like a powder and even had a few powdery bits in the pan. It was fully pigmented in a single layer that applied evenly and blended out well. This color lasted for nine hours before noticeably fading.
