It appears to me that whenever you look online today, there are thousands of small advertisements posted by people who promise to be able to teach you how to make money quickly by working from home and using nothing but your laptop.

The sums some of these people claim to earn are so amazing that you, like me, are undoubtedly skeptical of their veracity, i.e. are we talking about a slew of get-rich-quick schemes?

After deciding that I needed to make some additional money and being a bit of a web fanatic, I decided to take a chance and look into these folks' claims to see if it is possible to make money quickly or not.

The business idea I looked at is known as internet marketing, and all you need is a laptop to get started. Working this method seems to have a number of additional major advantages in addition to the potential for making a lot of money.

The following are...

1) Work from home - no more traffic jams or long commutes

2) Be your own boss - this one appealed to me the most because my supervisor was a complete moron!

3) Life quality - the ability to break free from the rat race and enjoy life on your own terms.

So I took the plunge and launched my own business. In the beginning, I discovered that I needed to read a lot of ebooks in order to grasp the notion of internet marketing. That was OK with me, and I found reading and finding new ways to make money to be extremely stimulating.

When I first started my own business, I discovered that it takes some time to get established. But, because I'm obstinate, and this seemed reasonable to me, I just got started.

The good news is that I can honestly say that I do not go a single day without earning money online. In fact, everything in my life has changed for the better, and I have no intention of going back. My goal is to never work for another company again!

Take it from me: if you're persistent and determined, you can make money quickly from home with little more than a laptop.
