Exquisite Exterior Design

The facade of the “Blue Shadow” boasts a shimmering hue named “Stardust Blue,” reminiscent of the Earth’s upper atmospheric layers. The satin-tinted grille surround and aero bumper insert pay homage to the thermal tiles used to safeguard space shuttles during atmospheric re-entry. Utilizing materials found in spacecraft, the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy is carefully crafted using a 3D printing technique that involves titanium, coated with a blue-tinted lacquer, imparting a pearlescent finish and highlighting the titanium’s textured grain. The wheels of the “Blue Shadow” feature a subtle darkening effect achieved through translucent lacquer, completing the mesmerizing exterior.

Stepping inside the “Blue Shadow,” the interior continues the captivating blue theme. The dashboard and door panels exhibit a seamless blend of transitional shades, skillfully achieved through six layers of paint, resulting in a mesmerizing three-dimensional effect. The Starlight Headliner sets the stage for an awe-inspiring ambiance within the cabin. Comprising 1,183 stars, including 799 white and 384 blue lights, it exudes a sense of wonderment. These stars are meticulously inserted into the leather canvas through hand-punched perforated holes, offering an unparalleled celestial experience. In a groundbreaking move, Rolls-Royce introduces a perforated artwork on both the front and rear seats, inspired by the mesmerizing view of Earth from space. This artwork, created using meticulously designed tiny perforations in luxurious leather, beautifully captures the graceful swirls of ever-shifting clouds over the continents and oceans. Each seat boasts over 75,000 perforations, with a meticulous design process lasting two weeks for each seat before it is expertly applied to the bespoke Cullinan.
