Cortisol is a natural “stress hormone” that is released when

the sun is up and you go about your day.


However, too much stress on your system may cause

an imbalance in cortisol levels.

A low functioning metabolism that is caused by high

cortisol levels may “hold on” to calories and store them

as fat.

Almost as if your metabolism is saying:

“I’ll get around to burning those calories as

energy, but today was tough… so, let’s sit

and watch a movie with some popcorn.”
