Hardwell’s ‘ Rebels Never Die ’ Album And Worldwide Tour Return To Ultra Music Festival - 2 minutes read
Hardwell returns to the Ultra Music Festival stage over ten years after doing one of the most electric performances at maybe one of the most significant electronic music festivals in history to make history with undoubtedly the most anticipated return concert of 2022.
Hardwell announced his retirement from touring in the autumn of 2018, following more than a decade of performing at the world’s largest festivals. So, unexpectedly, his triumphant comeback on Sunday night, his first official gig since his concert with the Metropole Orkest Symphony at the Ziggo Dome in October 2018, was one for the record books. The 150,000-person limit audience hailed Hardwell’s return with excitement as he performed a “surprise set” on the main stage (though most could guess it was him). Whereas online, his performance smashed Ultra’s live stream figures, with fans tuning in from all over the world, all anxious to see Hardwell’s first official live set in 3.5 years.
Hardwell utilized his headline spot at Ultra over the weekend to usher in a new era in his career by revealing a new set and new sound, as well as announcing a 24-date global tour in support of his new artist album, Rebels Never Die. This important event at Ultra not only served as Hardwell’s first gig return, but also as an opportunity for him to capture the attention of fans all across the world. Always a leader on a mission to evolve rather than repeat.
Hardwell’s new 14-track solo album, published on his label Revealed Recordings, marks a watershed moment in the artistic evolution of one of electronic music’s most well-known artists. The brand new Rebels Never Die global tour is a large-scale production idea that will provide fans with a one-of-a-kind multi-dimensional experience to see Hardwell play live back on stage. The Rebels Never Die album tour will take Hardwell on the road throughout 2022, with 24 performances already scheduled on the greatest stages in Europe, Asia, North and South America.
