Meghan Markle Is Eyeing Another 'Vogue' Magazine Editor Job
While Meghan Markle said she's partial to readingThe Economist, the former lifestyle blogger is making her mark in the magazine world as Vogue's newest editor. Well, that is if you believe some anon sources who are claiming just that.
According to The Daily Mail, Meghan is eyeing a role as a regular contributing editor at Vogue. Though, despite her stylish tendencies, Meghan won't be writing about royal fashion protocol. Instead, she'll focus on causes that are close to her heart and discuss "worthy charitable and philanthropic issues."
Daily Mail claimed that it's possible for Meghan's column to run across multiple international editions of Vogue, but TheDaily Beast's sources stated that's highly unlikely because they never share the same content and probably won't make any exceptions. Okay, but how 'bout this for a quick solve: BRING BACK THE TIG!!!
Also, in case ya didn't hear or somehow forgot, Meghan is also working with British Vogue's editor Edward Enninful for a special September issue that will include a feature by her highness. Photographer Annie Leibovitz was reportedly tapped to shoot photos of Meghan for the issue, which will highlight outfits by budding designers who have some connection to causes like women's rights and mental health, things she and Prince Harry are incredibly vocal about. Unfortunately for us Meghan Maniacs (if you know a better stan name, HMU), she won't be on the cover because she doesn't want her fame to overshadow the important causes she's talking about. Fair.
Here's exactly what The Daily Mail source said about everything:
Whatever the case may be, I cannot wait for the inevitable The Royal Wears Prada Givenchy movie about Meghan's blossoming magazine empire.
