Madonna is launching a Madame X radio station on SiriusXM amid backlash over God Control video

Madonna is getting her own dedicated radio station. 

SiriusXM announced on Friday there will be a limited-run channel dedicated to the artist, which will launch July 1. 

The 60-year-old pop icon from Michigan recently underwent a major transformation for her latest album Madame X. 

Madonna’s Madame X Radio will feature songs from the artist's decades-spanning career, including the recent No. 1 Madame X.

Madonna said of the station: 'This channel brings you into the intricate world of Madame X.

'You’ll learn more about the creative process behind my latest album and gain a deeper understanding of what drives me as an artist and a performer.'

The channel will chronicle her legacy through some exclusive stories on the making of the album, including 'her commitment to bringing the world closer through the exploration of cultures and music.'

Influenced by her time living in Lisbon, Portugal for the past several years, Madame X is a 15-track commentary on art and politics. 

The Like a Virgin artist is preparing to embark on a tour of intimate performances, as well as an appearance at Pride Island in New York City for World Pride.

A long-time ally to the LGBTQ community, her recent video for God Control caused shock and outrage among some fans.

The video depicts a graphic mass shooting at a nightclub, not unlike the one that took place at Orlando gay nightclub Pulse on June 12, 2016, which claimed 49 lives.

Survivor Patience Carter told TMZ: 'It was grossly accurate to what I witnessed that night.'

With a disclaimer before the video that calls attention to gun violence, Madonna recently told People: 'I send my children to school with the same fear every mother in this era has. 

'As a mother, you feel protective and responsible for all of the children in the world.'
