What's that big development near the Farragut baseball field and Kroger?

Biddle Farms Town Center coming soon to FarragutComing soon, Biddle Farms Town Center, a business district, as well as Anchor 934 Apartments to Farragut, Tenn.

It's not an agricultural development − despite what the name suggests − but a large community of apartments and businesses that are being built in Farragut, just east of Campbell Station.

Biddle Farms is located at 200 Brooklawn Street, just across Kingston Pike from the Farragut High School baseball field and near the Campbell Station branch of Kroger. Nearly every aspect of the project is still under construction, and roads are blocked off as crews finish working.

The "town center" of Biddle Farms will be around 60,000 square feet, according to CHM Development, and 44 town homes are in the plans. Knox News left a voicemail with a representative of Biddle Farms asking about the number of apartment units, but our message was not returned in time for publication.

Once it opens, Biddle Farms will join the hustle and bustle of the West Knoxville commercial hub, which includes the adjacent Brooklawn Village shopping center and the massive Turkey Creek shopping center less than 2 miles away.
