Walking down Rodeo Drive is like strolling through a Hollywood studio set, with its cardboard cut-out architecture, fleets of roaring supercars, and designer styling that would make the runways of a New York fashion week blush. You half expect to see Kathryn Bigelow pointing to a script, or Eddie Murphy in a car chase. It feels fiercely intimidating yet instantly familiar.
