I've been exercising the Instagram feature that allows you to see brands that are similar to the one you're currently viewing based on their magical and mysterious algorithm. And this week I really fell down the rabbit hole. My finds were all about brands that make you feel like you're a part of their family and supporting something really special. The greatest thing about finding brands that make made-to-order clothing is that the relationship between the maker and buyer is so intimate. From finding the brand to browsing and asking about sizing to buying the clothing and then finally receiving your order a few weeks later, it's all done by a small team. And the clothing itself doesn't feel amateur at all, the finishings are pristine and the fabrics sourced are of the highest quality. I would recommend not sleeping on the next five brands that are redefining handmade.
