Mining billionaire Andrew Forrest's daughter Sophia has broken her silence on her engagement to actress, Zara Zoe.

Sophia, 27, who is also an actress, told The Sunday Telegraph that Zara has received the tick of approval from family.

'I am the luckiest person alive to get to share my life with her,' Sophia said.

She went on to say Zara had the tick of approval from her family.

'The overwhelming support and love we have received from our family and friends has been one of the most joyful experiences of my life.'

Sophia and Zara met on the set of the 2018 film Ride Like A Girl, with the pair playing sisters in the movie.

Sophia is now fronting The Sapphire Project which is an ocean conservation charity.

'Our shared passions of story telling, environmental conservation and activism are some of the many reasons we click,' she said of their love story.

Sophia broke the news of her engagement in April by sharing a video on Instagram of Zara flashing a diamond ring.

'She makes heaven a place on earth,' Sophia wrote, alongside a ring emoji and the date '21.4.22'.

The clip showed the newly engaged couple then sharing dinner with friends, before celebrating by drinking champagne with Andrew and Nicola.

Previously, the children have been told they would not get any of their parents $25 billion fortune.
