There is only ONE WEEK until Prime Day. That means we're starting to see more and more early Prime Day deals, especially on Amazon devices and services (shocker). But not all deals are actually as good as they appear, so I and my team of online shopping experts go the extra mile to ensure those deals that look enticing on products you'll love are actually worth your money. Here are the best Amazon deals you can get this Monday, July 8.

With so many devices, it seems like I never have enough outlets anymore. I have at lest one powerstrip in every room of my apartment, and the ones I love most are the ones that include USB ports. They free up outlets for other devices, so what's not to love?

Right now you can get Anker's PowerPort powerstrip for just $26.49, a whole $0.50 less than its previous low price and nearly $10 less than the full price ($35). Anker makes solid tech accessories, and this power strip is no different. It's got three fast-charging USB ports and 12 outlets designed so you can plug in regular cords and big bricks with ease. Its own outlet is also flat so you can fit it easily behind furniture.

The Fitbit Charge 3 is back on sale! Whenever this $150 fitness tracker drops in price, it always drops to $120. I think this discount is the perfect excuse to take the plunge. And did I mention they actually have an impressive battery life? When I first got mine the battery lasted anywhere from eight to 10 days and I was blown away, especially because they advertise it as seven days. Plus, the Fitbit app and their customer service are both really fantastic.

The Echo Dot is already the most affordable smart speaker in the Alexa family, but I always get so pumped to see it go on sale. Typically, Amazon discounts the Dot by $10-$20, but right now they've put it back at its Black Friday price. The third-generation Dot speaker came out late last year, and when it went on sale for 50% off, you better believe people bought tons of them. So much, in fact, that it went from readily available to back-ordered super fast. Right now, if you get one, it'll ship right away. But with Prime Day coming up, I'm willing to bet that won't last.

Get the Amazon Echo Dot Smart Speaker for $24.99 (Save $25)

It should come as no surprise that Amazon is using the shopping holiday they created to push their own devices and services. I mean, the whole thing is a big ploy to get new Prime members, since you have to be a member to shop Prime Day. But one of the best deals they ran last year was for Amazon Music Unlimited, and it's back!

Amazon Music Unlimited is akin to Spotify Premium and Apple Music—you can listen to any songs you want for a monthly fee. It typically costs $9.99/month and you can get a free 30-day trial. But if you are a Prime member, you can get four months for just $0.99 as long as you've never signed up for this service before.

My suggestion? Pause whatever other streaming service you use, switch to this for a few months, and save even more. You can always cancel at the end of the four months and go back to your preferred service.

If you want to brighten your smile, Whitestrips might be a great way to give yourself a whiter smile without a ton of expensive dental work.
