We've entered the final hours of Amazon's October Prime Day shopping event, and our editors have evaluated thousands of discounts on everything from monitors and headphones to vacuums and beauty products. While we've been sharing the very best Prime Day deals throughout the sale, there are some great finds our editors recommend snagging right now.

We asked a few Insider Reviews editors to highlight the three best deals they've found in all of their searching this week. And no, it wasn't easy to narrow them down! Some even shared the deals you should wait until Black Friday to buy, so take note.

Personally, I think that big deal days like Prime Day are a great time to hop on a trend and see if it's right for you. I'm personally curious about many of the TikTik-famous products on sale, like 37% off the Chom Chom Fur Remover (read our Chom Chom review) and 28% off cult-favorite JISULIFE Portable Fan, which I own and love. I've taken 48 flights so far this year, and this little fan has come with me all over the world; I've even written about my love for it in our best travel accessories guide. Lastly, the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer almost never goes on sale, so it's a pretty big deal that it's $100 off right now. I'm thinking of getting in on that deal myself.

As far as what I'd avoid, years of hunting deals have made me cold and hardened to any deal that is less than 25% off. Unless it's something you really want or need right now, minor discounts are likely to come back around again.

I'm taking this Prime Day to upgrade some of the old gadgets I've got in my house. For my home office, I'm replacing my dull computer monitor with a 240Hz gaming monitor from Spectre, which is over $30 off right now; I'm ditching my half-broken Mac keyboard for a tactile Keychron mechanical keyboard, currently $25 off; and my generic Dell mouse is getting switched out for a sleek Logitech G502 X, also $30 off.

Notice that these products were already pretty affordably priced. I'm a frugal person by nature, so my favorite Prime Day deals are the ones that turn an already budget item into an even better buy. When it comes to the big-ticket items, like TVs or furniture, I'd rather wait for bigger deals on Black Friday.

I like to run…a lot. I go through many shoes when training for marathons, and Prime Day is when I pick up a new pair or two. Last Prime Day, I purchased the Asics Men's Gel-Nimbus 24 Running Shoes. I love how they provide a great balance of cushioning and energy return. Right now, they're even cheaper than when I bought them, just $63 at Amazon, nearly $100 off, an all-time low price. I also like to buy treats during Prime Day. This year, I got the variety drum of Chupa Chups. It's 60 full-size lollipops for under $10.

Prime Day in July was a big time for me since I had just moved apartments, but now that I've settled in, I'm trying to level off my expenses and am focusing on replenishing my favorite products. I plan to wait for Black Friday for bigger ticket items to see what's happening across other retailers.

I really enjoy Laneige products, and after finishing up a sample size of the Laneige Water Bank Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer, I'm going to replenish at 30% off. I also can never stop raving about my love for the Philips 3200 Series Latte Go Espresso Machine, which is currently $400 off, and makes high-quality lattes at the touch of the button. Finally, I'm planning to buy some vacuum replacement bags for my iRobot; the refills are only marked down a dollar, but it's still cheaper than other retailers. I have the J-series, which is among iRobot's newest models, but the iRobot Roomba s9+ Self Emptying Robot Vacuum is the lowest price I've ever seen at $499, making it a great buy for anyone who's wanted an iRobot with the self-cleaning base design.

From my years of deal and price tracking, I've started to note the cadence of pricing, and that a lot of these promotions will come back in full force come Black Friday. For now, I like to compare everything I'm interested in with Keepa to see if it's actually on sale and how far the markdown is from the original price. I'm a sale shopper, so my favorite promotions usually need to be at least a 30% discount for me to take notice, unless it's one of those things that go on sale just once or twice a year.

I'm pretty practical when it comes to Prime Day deal shopping and typically purchase one or two useful things that I've been meaning to buy for months. I look for rare low prices on products at various price points, but typically my needs are in the $50 and under range.

This time around, I scoured the deals on stainless steel mixing bowls. I'm not a big cook, but I use bowls to make salads and pizza dough. I got the OXO Good Grips 3-Piece Stainless-Steel Mixing Bowl Set for 30% off, the lowest price it's seen in years. Another thing I've been meaning to pick up for a while is the Dexas Mudbuster Paw Cleaner, which is down about $10 right now. If your dog tracks mud and dirt into your house, this simple tool beats a damp cloth. It's also great for removing rock salt and ice melt residue after winter walks.

There is one big-ticket item that stands out to me right now. I'm in the process of researching portable home generators. I'm not ready to buy, but for anyone who's in the market for a dual-fuel generator, it's worth considering the top-rated DuroMax XP13000EH Portable Generator, which is $600 off right now.

If you're shopping early for holiday gifts, I'd recommend skipping some of the most popular giftable items, like HydroFlask water bottles and weighted blankets. Those often see much bigger price drops during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which aren't too far off.

After moving this past June, I vowed to wait until Prime Day to make my big kitchen upgrades and I'm so glad I did. These Prime Day deals most certainly took a bite out of my wallet, but at a fraction of the price you'd normally pay for these items.

I've loved my 8-year-old rice cooker well, but it was definitely time to invest in the top-of-the-line Zojirushi Micom Rice Cooker, which is 30% off right now. This machine uses "fuzzy logic technology" which allows the rice cooker to make fine adjustments to temperature and heating time leading to the fluffiest, most perfectly cooked rice every time. As someone who eats rice multiple times a week, this deal was a no-brainer.

Another kitchen tool I've been itching to pick up for the last few years is the KitchenAid Corded Hand Blender. I've tried using my normal blender for making soups, but having to transfer hot liquid or roasted vegetables into it has caused too much anxiety and too many spills. Thankfully, the KitchenAid is $20 off at the moment and at $39, that's a price I'll pay for convenience.

A little addition that I thought I'd throw in while I was at it is this adjustable spice rack that's almost 50% off and perfect for my overwhelming spice collection. While my pockets may be emptier, my heart is happy to see my new kitchen filling out with some well-discounted necessities.

I promised myself to hold strong during the Prime Big Deal Days this year, but as a reporter who has covered deals for several years, I can't ignore a great discount. There are a few product categories that I am weakest to during deal holidays, and my purchases this Prime Day have largely fallen under those umbrellas.

The first is beauty products — when I see viral products that I've long yearned for drop in price, I can't resist. This year, I ended up buying three shades of the Peripera Ink Airy Velvet Lip Tint, a brand and product I've had my eyes on for a while now. At less than $7 a tube, it's unbelievably affordable to stock up my makeup stash with new shades, both trendy and classic.

Board games are also a great category to shop for during Prime Big Deal Days; tons of beloved titles are down to record lows. I finally got my household a box of Scrabble, and honestly I can't believe it took me this long. For only $14, I got a special version that features locking tiles, so it would take a table flip to move the pieces out of place.

Finally, I will always buy a worthwhile deal on consumables, like toilet paper, dish soap, or in this case, doggy bags at 15% off. These kinds of products are items you'll always need to keep around the house anyway, so finding them on sale is a no-brainer purchase.

When it comes to what I'd skip this deal event, I'm holding out until Black Friday and Cyber Monday for a lot of my bigger purchases. Don't get me wrong — there are plenty of great discounts on products like Instant Pots and stick vacuums. However, this isn't my first deal event, and I like to shop knowing that Black Friday won't beat the deal that I just bought.
