Amazon Prime Day 2019 is almost here. The Prime member exclusive holiday will last for two full days, which makes it Amazon's longest Prime Day ever. Amazon is promising over a million deals on Prime Day with discounts on everything from 4K TVs to Fire TV Sticks. Shoppers can also take advantage of Prime Day Whole Foods deals, Prime Day Twitch deals, and Prime Day sales from Amazon rivals like Walmart and Target. 

For shoppers, that means more noise to navigate through. Prime Day is less than a week away, but Amazon is already offering multiple Prime Day preview deals. Some of these deals are for Prime members only, so you must sign into your Prime account to see the markdowns or clickable coupons. That said, here are the best Prime Day deals right now, including a massive discount on Pepsi products.

The Apple AirPods are the best earbuds for those invested in Apple's ecosystem. Macy's had them for $129 earlier in the week, so we think they'll get cheaper on Prime Day. Prime Day started in 2015 to celebrate Amazon's 20th anniversary. Since then, it has grown into a global deal-a-thon that's celebrated in 18 countries. Prime Day has been such a massive success that for the third consecutive year Amazon is extending the length of the sale. Amazon Prime Day 2019 will last 48 hours (up from last year's 36-hour sale).

Amazon announced that it will launch Twitch Sells Out — a stream that will highlight the best Amazon Prime Day Twitch deals for gamers. (The stream will begin on Prime Day). Anyone can watch the Twitch stream, but only Prime members will be able to make purchases direct from the stream. In addition, through July 16 shoppers can use coupon code "PRIME2019" to 30% off all Twitch Merch purchases. 

Through July 16, Prime members who spend $10 or more at Whole Foods (or via a Prime Now order), will receive a $10 Amazon credit that can be redeemed during Prime Day (July 15 and 16). 

This is the same promo that Amazon offered last year. However, it's a great deal because that $10 credit can be used on anything sold via Amazon. (Excluding gift cards). For example, last year via our $10 credit we were able to snag an Echo Dot for just $24.99.  

In addition to the credit, Prime members who shop at Whole Foods can currently save from 25% to 50% off select items, including organic cherries, apple pie, and wild-caught salmon. Make sure to follow our guide for the best Prime Day Whole Foods deals.

Absolutely. Although tech plays a big role on Prime Day, Amazon will also have discounts on other items like apparel and home decor. Right now Amazon is taking 30% off school essentials, 30% off college gear, and 30% off household essentials. Amazon's own clothing brands like Lark & Ro and GoodThreads will also be on sale during Prime Day. 

Prime Day 2019 is kicking off tonight with a free Taylor Swift concert. The Prime Day Concert 2019 will include performances by Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, SZA, and Becky G. The live show will be streamed for Prime members only on July 10 at 9pm ET via Prime Video. Remember, if you're not a Prime member you can always sign up for a free trial.   

Prime Day is Amazon's "thank you" to Prime members. As a result, shoppers must be Amazon Prime subscribers to take advantage of any deals. However, if you're not a Prime member, there's still hope. Amazon offers a free Prime member trial when you first sign up. After your 30-day trial is up, you can keep your membership and pay $119/year, or cancel it before the free trial expires. Either way, your Prime trial period will let you shop deals on Prime Day.

If you've cancelled a Prime membership in the past 12 months, you don't qualify for the free 30-day trial. So your best bet is to sign up for a 1-month Prime membership at $12.99/month. Hopefully you'll purchase enough deals that the 1-month membership will pay for itself. After the month is up, you can cancel with no commitment required. Just remember to cancel, because paying $12.99/month for the duration of a year is pricier than Amazon's $119/year membership.

Unfortunately, no. That means if you buy this Insignia 43-inch 4K Fire TV for $299 right now and it drops to say $179.99 on Prime Day, you won't be able to get the price difference. What Amazon suggests you do is return the item you bought and buy it again at the lower price. However, if you do this you'll have to pay return shipping. (And if it's a big, heavy item like a TV, that could eat up your price adjustment savings). If it's a smaller item, like an Echo Dot, shipping will cost less, but just make sure the savings are worth the extra hassle. 

Amazon has been investing in its shipping infrastructure for quite some time now. According to Amazon, 1-day shipping is available on more than 10 million products with no minimum purchase required. It's available "coast to coast" on everything from doggie bags to Echo devices. Your Prime Day shipping options include: 

Moreover, Amazon recently added 15 Boeing 737-800 cargo aircraft to its current fleet. The aircraft will be part of the Amazon Air Network and used to get your purchases to you as fast as possible. 

Not to be outdone, Walmart — Amazon's biggest rival — is offering 1-day shipping in Phoenix and Las Vegas. Even better, Walmart has no membership fees, whereas an Amazon Prime membership costs $119/year. Target is also jumping onto the expedited shipping bandwagon. The retailer is expanding its same-day shipping options using Shipt as its delivery service. Shoppers can sign up for a free four-week trial or pay a $9.99 delivery fee for each order made at Target.com. 

Absolutely. Amazon Prime Student members get access to many of the same perks granted to regular Prime members. Moreover, if you're a college student with an edu-based e-mail, you'll get six free months of Prime instead of the traditional 30 days. So go ahead and sign up for that free trial now, it'll be valid for the next six months. 

Last year, Prime Day was celebrated in 17 countries including the U.S., U.K., Spain, Singapore, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Japan, Italy, India, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium, Austria, and Australia. In 2019, Prime Day will expand to the United Arab Emirates, for a total of 18 countries. 

There's no doubt that you'll find great deals on Amazon Prime Day. However, we recommend you shop with caution, because not every deal will be a good deal. Make a list of the items you'd like to buy and stick to it. Tools like CamelCamelCamel — a site that tracks the price history of many Amazon products — can help you spot fake deals from true price drops. You'll also want to put Fakespot.com in your bookmarks; this site can help determine whether the Amazon user reviews for a given product are legit or fake.

How does a little Prime Day cash back sound? Amazon offers an Amazon Rewards Visa Signature Card that offers 3% cash back at Amazon.com and at Whole Foods Market. If you have particularly good credit, you can also apply for the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card, which offers 5% cash back on Amazon.com purchases and Whole Foods Market purchases. (Both cards are issued by Chase). Amazon also offers store cards for customers who are building their credit. As with all credit cards, you'll want to beware of monthly interest rates.    

eBay is the first e-tailer to take Prime Day on. The company announced its Crash Sale, which starts on July 15. Should Amazon's website crash during Prime Day — as it did last year — eBay says it'll offers an extra round of "too good to be true deals." 

Dell is also celebrating its own Prime Day. The PC manufacturer is slashing prices sitewide during its Dell Black Friday in July Sale. 

Another retailer to watch this year is Walmart, which has been matching Amazon's every step. Currently, Walmart has one of our favorite Vizio TVs of 2019 on sale. Most recently, Walmart has also launched next-day shipping in Las Vegas and Phoenix. It plans to expand its next-day shipping to all major U.S. cities by year's end. Not to be outdone, Target just announced Target Deal Days, which is the retailer's take on Prime Day. Bottom line: Be ready for an influx of deals during the first half of July.  

Yes. Alexa's role on major holidays like Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day has grown throughout the years. Not only can Alexa tell you the day's top deals, but you can also purchase them via any Alexa-powered device. (Just make sure you have enabled Alexa Voice Shopping on your device). There is a downside, however. You're essentially trusting that Amazon is offering you the best deal without verifying if other retailers have undercut the e-commerce giant. Our take — Alexa Voice Shopping is about convenience. If you're looking to save money, you're better off making purchases the traditional way.
