9 new nonstop routes to Las Vegas, Cleveland
Frontier Airlines is adding nine new nonstop routes this fall, seven of them serving year-round vacation hot spot Las Vegas.
The new routes announced Tuesday by the Denver-based discount carrier:
Portland, Oregon-Las Vegas: Service begins Nov. 14 and will be offered on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
Reno, Nevada-Las Vegas: Service begins Nov. 14 and will be offered on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
Seattle-Las Vegas: Service begins Nov. 14 and will be offered on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
Cleveland-Fort Lauderdale, Florida: Service begins Oct. 10 and will be offered on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
Cleveland-Miami: Service begins Oct. 10 and will be offered Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
The Las Vegas flights are year-round. The Cleveland flights are seasonal.
Frontier, which is quick to pull new flights if they don't perform, has previously served both of the new Cleveland routes and has also offered Las Vegas-Miami service.
Frontier is offering introductory fares as low as $29 one way on some of the Las Vegas routes and fares starting at $79 on the Cleveland flight. Frontier offers bargain fares and charges extra for carry-on bags, advance seat assignments, in-flight soft drinks and a host of other extras.
