Like other travel sites and companies, Wanderu has created an interactive map allowing users to click on a state to find out its specific COVID-related travel restrictions (if it has any). There are also maps that do the same for Canadian provinces, and European countries. All of the information from the map is also available in list form directly below.

But what makes this particular resource unique is a bit further down the page, where you’ll find information specific to train and bus travel on change and cancellation policies for companies in North America, face mask policies and cleaning protocols each company has implemented, trip protection, and a list of carriers that are currently in service.

So has train and bus travel gone back to normal? According to Wanderu, not exactly:

While some bus and train operators have remained off the road since mid-March, the majority of carriers have resumed service. Due to a decreased demand for travel, however, most bus and train carriers that are currently running are operating on a limited schedule.
