A green screen divider to amp up your workspace productivity!

I’m a firm believer that a bit of greenery can really help us rejuvenate, refocus, and even enhance our productivity. So it’s safe to say that green areas in office spaces can give us a much-needed breath of fresh air! Swedish design studio Kauppi & Kauppi’s thought process was pretty much like mine, and so they designed the ‘Limbus GreenFrame’ for the brand Glimakra of Sweden.

The GreenFrame is a floor screen divider, plant pot holder and a lighting fixture, all in one. Comprising of a minimalist ash wood frame, the rectangular structure can hold up to three potted plants. LED lights line the ceiling of the frame. The illuminated frame functions not only as a light fixture but helps in nurturing and growing the plants indoors, especially during winters in areas with minimal daylight hours. The frame also serves as a splendid divider, creating privates spaces in bustling offices. Larger sized plants with wholesome leaves help diffuse sounds and encourage privacy even more. On the days when you feel like cutting off from the noise, just replace the frame with a board to absorb the noise and give you a complete separation from the world!

Created through advanced CNC milling, the frame hides the integrated luminaire power cables and adapter that supports the lighting system. But more than providing light support and enabling privacy, the GreenFrame is a refreshing source of greenery in the often stagnant office spaces. Most of us aren’t lucky enough to be seated next to a window in our workspace, and the chances of having a view of nature are even rarer. However, GreenFrame acts as a convenient alternative to windows, allowing greenery and light to support and maintain the overall office well being.
