Mueller hearing delayed and lengthened so more members can question him
Special counsel Robert S. Mueller IIIs testimony before Congress could be delayed until July 24, a week later than originally scheduled, to accommodate questioning from more members, multiple media outlets reported Friday.
Mueller and House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler have been negotiating the framework of the hearing for weeks and announced yesterday that the special counsels testimony, initially scheduled for next Wednesday, July 17, would last no more than two hours.
The hearing set for July 24 has been lengthened to three hours.

Heres what will happen. Mueller will say nothing new. Both sides will be upset. The left will insist that nothing new is something that needs to be investigated in depth.
I’m just happy they’ve so easily solved any other issues that we, as tax paying citizens/employers, are concerned with. Seems easy when you step back and look at what they’ve done in the last couple of years. NOT! Grrrrrrrrr!
Same here. And if Mueller perceives this to be a way for more questions that he doesn’t want asked, he may not show at all. Which is what he should have done all along.
