Joe Biden Links Trump Presidency to Assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.

Appearing Saturday on MSNBC with Al Sharpton, 2020 frontrunner and former Vice President Joe Biden said the presidency of Donald Trump has “awakened” Americans akin to the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy.

"I think what’s happening now is, I think that Donald Trump may have reawakened sensibilities in this country to say, “Whoa, maybe we can do this now,” just like our generation was awakened when Dr. King and Bobby Kennedy were assassinated. Our whole generation [said], “I’m back in, man.” These millennials, they get it, Rev. And now they want to get engaged." This is part of a conversation between Joe Biden and Al Sharpton. None of it makes much sense.

Even more domestically insidious is Trump’s responsibility for the oxygen tank explosion on Apollo 13. Thank God we had a democrat congress that was able to bring them home safely.

A poorly-crafted headline. To a person who doesn’t read the article, it might sound as if Trump had something to do with the assassination. No one has a lower regard for Biden than I do, but that isn’t what he said.

It has always been this way. BUT before the internet and the 245 hour cable news cycle, the media simply didn’t report their gaffs and stupidity. .........
