Insulated bottle brand Stanley got some of the best free marketing it could ever hope for when one customer shared a video of her cup after it apparently survived a car fire, then offered to replace the burnt-out vehicle.

Danielle, who goes by the handle on TikTok, uploaded a shocking video on the platform showing the aftermath of a fire that damaged her car.

In the video, Danielle shows the interior of her car which looks wrecked, but an insulated mug in the cup holder appears to have remained undamaged and still in pristine condition. When she shakes the bottle it clinks with ice, which also appears to have survived the fire.

Danielle says in the video, which has now racked up over 28 million views and 3.3 million likes: "Everybody is so concerned if the Stanley spills but what else? It was in a fire yesterday and it still has ice in it."

Insider hasn't been able to independently verify the claims made in the TikTok.

Stanley's global president Terence Reilly then posted a stitch with Danielle's video on the brand's TikTok account saying: "We've all seen your video. Wow what an ordeal, and we're all really glad you're safe."

He added: "I've seen a lot of comments that we should send you some Stanleys. Well, we're gonna send you some Stanleys, but there's one more thing and we've never done this before and we'll probably never do it again, but we'd love to replace your vehicle… yeah all of us at Stanley we'd really like to replace your vehicle."

Reilly's video also gained significant traction, and received over five million views.

Stanley has become a beloved brand on social media, particularly TikTok, over the past year with users calling it the new "it" portable drinkware, Business Insider previously reported. The 40-ounce tumblers cost between $40 and $50 and are known for their sleek design and ability to keep drinks cold for a long time.

BI reached out to Stanley and Danielle for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
