Collective bargaining agreement for soccer referees
Just ahead of the 2019-2020 season, the Israel Football Association and the Histadrut Leumit Labor Federation signed a collective agreement on Sunday, regulating the status of referees, linesmen and supervisors who areme members of the Referees Association.
According to the agreement, which will remain valid until the end of the 2022/2023 season, the referees will receive raises of dozens of percentage points, as well as retroactive payment supplements to April 2019. In addition, a mechanism will be set up for clarifying disputed issues related to joining or withdrawing from the officiating ranks.
