Deals vary between big discounts on the annual price or extremely low prices on monthly subscriptions, where you're still free to cancel at any time. So, if you want to commit long-term to a service you've been dipping in and out of in recent months, this could be a great time to strike. Or if you've been meaning to try something new or just want to rinse a service for a few boxsets on the cheap, then bolt; this is the time to do it, as they are right up there with the best Black Friday deals of the whole event.

Truth be told, most of the best Black Friday streaming deals are on the ad-supported tiers this year, which is a bit disappointing. But the prices are so low you might as well take the service for a spin anyway. There's no long-term commitment, as most of the subscriptions can be dropped at any time. It varies by streaming service, but nearly all of them will last through Cyber Monday on November 27. The longest-running deal is Paramount Plus', which lasts until Sunday, December 3.

Am I locked into a contract if I sign up for one of these Black Friday streaming deals?

Nope! By default, once the deal you've signed up for ends, the streaming service will re-subscribe you for the regular price. But you can cancel anytime before the deal runs out, which will let you keep watching until the deal ends without getting re-subscribed for the higher price.
