Hit streaming show 'Dimension 20' is raring to go with an all-new season of 'Misfits and Magic' - 2 minutes read

The new series' trailer shows off a return to "Misfits and Magic," the series' popular parody of Harry Potter that features four American exchange students getting up to some sorcerous shenanigans at a British wizarding school called the Gowpenny Academy of Arcane Arts.

This second season of "Misfits and Magic" picks up three years after the events of its first season and is game-mastered by Aabria Iyengar, who's known for her enigmatic storytelling on "Critical Role" and the podcast "Worlds Beyond Number."

The original Misfits reprise their roles, too.

Brennan Lee Mulligan, "D20's" regular game master, is back as Evan Kelmp, an orphan from Millersburg, Iowa; Lou Wilson — also a core member of the original "D20" cast — returns as Whitney Jammer; a high school basketball player from Chicago; and Erika Ishii and Danielle Radford will be back playing their characters, K, an online fangirl who aspires to witching excellence, and Sam Black, a online streamer from Portland.

"D20" just wrapped up its run of "Never Stop Blowing Up," a 10-episode action-movie-infused series run by Mulligan.

And there's a lot more to look forward to for "D20" fans in the coming months.

"There is so much stuff coming down the pipe. I'm so excited. Some worlds are being revisited, some worlds are brand new," Mulligan told Business Insider in August. "Look forward to some big announcements for 2025, and I'll see you all at Madison Square Garden in January."

Season two of "Misfits and Magic" kicks off on September 25th. It will consist of 11 episodes, airing weekly on Wednesdays.
