Liz Cambage hits back at critics as she stuns as the face of Bonds' new campaign
Australian basketball star Liz Cambage has been announced as the face of Bonds' new Get Real campaign.
The 27-year-old star - who plays for the Australian Opals and the Las Vegas Aces - stuns in the new campaign, modelling a series of matching underwear sets.
And in a new interview, the brunette echoed the sentiments of the campaign, saying that she doesn't care about the critics and is confident in herself and what she stands for.
Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph, Liz said: 'I know who I am and I don't care what anyone thinks or says about me at all, unless it's my mother.'
She added that she's now found her voice, having being somewhat 'manipulated' in the past.
'I spent my teenage years and early 20s being manipulated — well, not manipulated, but I was told what to do and what to say by agents and managers, and when I was around 23 I thought "I am sick of pretending to be someone and saying all these things that don't really resonate with me," she added.
The campaign helps 'celebrate women of all forms and empowering them to be the real version of themselves,' Bonds marketing manager Michelle Taylor said in an official statement.
She went on to describe Liz as 'an amazing role model for young women.'
In the campaign, Liz wears one black underwear set, which shows off her fit figure.
In another shot, she wears a bright pink set and event laughs and smiles, exuding confidence.
Liz - who stands at 6'8 - previously spoke about body confidence to Show and Tell, back in 2015.
'I don't think I'd ever want to blend in,' Liz said.
She added about her height and how people often stare at her when she walks down the street, saying: 'I've always said, if they're going to stare, may as well give them something good to look at.'
