If you were to go digging around our tools in our house, and we had to come up with an answer for how useful they all are in our projects, you’d definitely find a few interesting things. There would be a laser level. And different sized paint brushes than your average joe in embarrassing numbers, alongside all the paint cans imaginable piled under a hidden area because supplies. But most importantly, Frogtape®. I don’t think we’ve ever had such an over abundance of a versatile tool in all our lives. It has so many uses from the run of the mill traditional approach, to creations with endless possibilities. So we thought it would be fun today to talk about our favorite projects with our favorite tool! Our favorite project ideas with Frogtape ®.

There are of course, the classic uses like those great sharp lines when painting, or taking it a step further with a fun pattern. 

We took on this fun accent wall with a little bit of a different take on all things plaid. We love the way it turned out!

On the practical side, there are ways we use it in a renovation that we never imagined until it was the most practical solution on hand.

In that regard, it’s definitely the handiest tool that we have.

When we lived on the upper level of our house and experienced full on demo in the gross basement below, we had to seal it off to protect our home and family from all that construction dust. This certainly did the trick. We have more ideas for practical uses here! {See sealing that HVAC and more} 

We even finished our stairs with Frogtape®. It was oh so clean and simple! 

Can you believe this was our basement before when we moved into this house?

In all things planning, we use it to mark where new doorways and walls will go, the positioning of cabinetry and so much more. We’ve gotten to where we don’t go into a client’s house without taking our roll of tape. 

Recently in our own home, it was for mantel positioning. {Sneaky peeky below of our progress so far below!} SO CLOSE.

We’ve used it this way for years, but you can definitely add some fun to your old frames and new {and more!} with this simple leapfrogging method we love to use. 

And don’t forget help with hanging those gallery walls.

It really is our favorite go to.
