Ochsenhausen Continues to Roll - 1 minute read

Ochsenhausen won three matches in a week, including topping first-place Borussia Dusseldorf, to grab a secure hold on second place in the German Bundesliga.  Now they have a break before playing New-Ulm next Friday.


The Ochsenhausen squad’s last match was with Bad Homburg where Simon Gauzy and the two youngest team members, Samuel Kulzycki and Maciej Kubik won 3-1.  Gauzy won both of his singles matches 3-0.  Maciej Kubik, the youngest Ochsenhausen player, competed on his 18th Birthday – but lost 3-0.  The other win was by Samuel Kulzycki, who dominated his opponent 3-0.


The previous match was a 3-1 win over ASV Grunwettersbach.  In the ASV match, the top three Ochsenhausen players all competed with Calderano playing the top position, Gauzy in the second position, and Kanak Jha playing the third singles position.  The three wins all came in singles, with Simon Gauzy topping Dang Qiu and Hugo Calderano loggin wins over Deni Kozul and Dang Qiu.  Jha fell short in his match against Xi Wang 0-3.
