WAB Club Feature: Greater Vancouver Table Tennis Association

The Greater Vancouver Table Tennis Association (GVTTA) is a non-profit organization established to promote the sport of table tennis in British Columbia. Located in Burnaby, a suburb East of Vancouver, the 3200 square foot facility is easily accessible to the greater Vancouver metropolitan area.

The club features table tennis classes for children and adults of all ages, and the facility is open to school PE classes as well.

 The coaching team at GVTTA is truly elite: Helen Wu was part of a Women’s Team that won Chinese National Championships in 1975, 1976 and 1977,   Wilson Peng Zhang was a Canadian Olympian and National Team member in both Canada and China, and Tao Li was a Chinese National Junior Team Champion and a University coach at Northern Jiaotong University in Beijing.

Whether you are looking to play for fun, to maintain your health, or if you’d like to develop your game to the highest levels, there are options available for you at GVTTA.
