Wimbledon 2019: Romeo Beckham channels tennis legend Andre Agassi as he sports an earring
His passion for tennis knows no bounds, so he was hardly going to miss the highlight of the tennis season.
And Romeo Beckham appeared to be channelling his inner Andre Agassi, as he went to Wimbledon on Tuesday whilst sporting an earring in his left ear.
The aspiring tennis player, 16, who is the son of David and Victoria Beckham, wore a jewel cross which brought Andre's signature look to mind as he walked the grounds of the All England Club.
Andre is a legend of the game, who has eight grand slam titles to his name and was the first male player to win all four tournaments: the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open.
He was the former world number one, and had one of Tennis' most famous rivalries against Pete Sampras, another one of the greatest to ever play.
Agassi now works as a coach, and advised current world number one Novak Djokovic from 2017-2018, and has worked with Grigor Dimitrov ever since.
Romeo donned tennis whites for the day, looking casually cool in a white tee and matching shorts.
The teen completed his look with white socks and trainers, adding a trendy twist with a black backwards cap.
When in London, Romeo plays at the elite Queen’s tennis club, with fashion designer Victoria forking out £12,000 to have him bypass its famously long waiting list.
He has previously played with British No 2 Kyle Edmund, and he’s also posted pictures of himself with other tennis stars including women’s No 1 Simona Halep and No 2 Caroline Wozniacki online.
He's also trained with Andy Murray and Dimitrov, and litter his Instagram with snaps of him in practice.
Day two of the prestigious tournament will see eight-time champion and tennis icon Roger Federer play, and he beat Lloyd Harris of South Africa in four sets.
