GB win four wheelchair tennis titles in Bolton - 1 minute read
Great Britain won four titles in back-to-back international wheelchair tennis tournaments in Bolton.
Andy Lapthorne won the ITF 2 quad singles title with a walkover win against American Andrew Bogdanov.
Lapthorne and Greg Slade beat Leandro Pena and Ymanitu Silva 6-0 6-4 in the ITF 2 quad doubles final, while the latter also beat Pena 6-3 6-0 in the ITF 3 quad singles final.
Lucy Shuker and Cornelia Oosthuizen won the ITF 2 women's doubles final.
They beat Angelica Bernal and Maria Florencia Moreno 6-1 2-6 (10-8) to secure victory.
"To win four singles titles in Bolton since 2016 is a record I can be really proud of," said Lapthorne.
"This year, especially, it's nice to get a singles title on the board early in Paralympic year."
