Rafael Nadal shares beautiful picture from wedding at Spanish castle

Rafael Nadal has posted his first image from his wedding to long-time partner Maria Francisca Perello.

The pair tied the knot back in October 2019 but the tennis star hadn't posted any images from the big day himself.

Ya para despedirme de todos vosotros os dejo este último gran recuerdo del 2019 y aprovecho para desearos todo lo mejor para el 2020! A post shared by Rafa Nadal () on Dec 31, 2019 at 12:12am PST

"And to say goodbye to all of you I leave you with this last great memory of 2019 and take the opportunity to wish you all the best for 2020!"

The newlyweds married in a Spanish castle in Majorca called La Fortaleza, which is believed to be the most expensive property in Spain, Insider's Meredith Cash previously reported.

They had 350 guests, including the former King of Spain, Juan Carlos I.

Few details or images of the wedding have been made public. However the US Open Instagram account posted two pictures of the happy newlyweds to congratulate the pair.

Nadal also shared a picture of the view from La Fortaleza and a winking emoji.

The couple had been together for 14 years before they got married, and Nadal is believed to have proposed in Rome in May.
