It had a smooth, velvety texture that glided across my lips with ease but never felt wet or slippery–creamy but matte, powdery in a way. The color coverage was opaque in one layer and applied evenly, though the drier, matte finish resulted in some product pulling away at my lip lines, which is something I find happens often enough with creamier, but matte, formulas on me. It wore well for five and a half hours and was neither drying nor hydrating to me.
